The Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 — powered by the Sony IMX708 — is the official next-generation 12MP camera featuring Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and Wide Dynamic Range (HDR). While the official version delivers outstanding image quality, many users find its price prohibitive. To address this, we partnered directly with the same manufacturer that produces the official Raspberry Pi IMX708 camera to source a limited quantity of the identical sensor at a more accessible price point.
Beyond the standard module, our engineering team has developed an exclusive Mini version — a more compact form factor that retains full performance. Each Mini version comes with a custom 3D-printed housing to protect the core components. Every unit ships with a 15-pin to 22-pin FPC adapter cable included for hassle-free setup.

22-PIN Connector Pinout
This module uses a standard 22-PIN MIPI CSI-2 connector (54548-2271) with 2-lane differential data (CAM0_DN/DP0, CAM0_DN/DP1), clock lane (CAM0_CN/CP), GPIO (CAM0_IO0/IO1), I²C (CD0_SCL/SDA), and 3.3V power. A 15-PIN to 22-PIN adapter cable is included to connect directly to all Raspberry Pi boards.
Mini Version + 3D-Printed Housing
Our in-house designed Mini version reduces the module footprint while maintaining identical sensor performance. The 3D-printed housing protects the core components and features an easy plug-and-unplug design for convenient installation.
Night Vision Version — Important Note
⚠️ The night vision variant has no IR cut filter. Without the filter, daytime photos will have a color cast (pinkish/reddish tint). Please select your version carefully based on your use case.
